Frequently Asked Questions

How can I find out more about your services?

Simply click on the Contact Me button or email me at atlantachristiandoula@gmail.com. We can schedule a time to chat either virtually or in person (I love good tea!), allowing us to get to know each other more, dive into more detail on my services, and answer any questions you may have. From here, you are free to make the decision that is right for you.

How does your fee work?

A non-refundable $500 deposit locks your birth on my calendar. My doula services can be booked up to seven months in advance, so it is recommended that you book services early in your pregnancy when possible.  Remaining $950+ is due by your 37th week of pregnancy. You may make payments along the way or pay balance in full when due.

Will my insurance cover your services?

Some insurances or medical sharing companies will cover a portion of the cost of doula services. It never hurts to call and ask! You may also be able to use your health saving account (HSA) or flex spending account to pay for services. I am happy to provide an invoice to submit if needed.

How far will you travel for a birth?

I travel to all Atlanta metro areas, including but not limited to Alpharetta, Roswell, Ball Ground, Cumming, Woodstock, Canton, Kennesaw, Marietta, Smyrna, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Duluth, and Gainesville. There is a travel fee ($100+) for clients who live outside a 20 mile radius from my home (zip code 30004). Please inquire for more information on out of town doula services.

What if you are sick, at a birth, or an emergency presents during my labor?

Although it is extremely rare for me to miss the birth of a client, I always have a highly experienced and dedicated back-up doula on call.
