How can I find out more about your services? 

Simply click on the Contact Me button or email me at atlantachristiandoula@gmail.com. We can set up a time to chat on the phone (or Facetime). If you prefer meeting in person we can set up a coffee meeting near my home. I will offer information and answer your questions and then you are free to make the decision that is right for you. 

How does your fee work?

A non-refundable $300 fee is required to book your due date on my calendar. My doula services are often booked up to seven months in advance so it is recommended that you book services early in your pregnancy when possible.  Remaining $850 is due by your 36th week of pregnancy. You may make payments along the way or pay balance in full when due.

Will my insurance cover your services?

Unfortunately most insurances do not cover doula services. Some medical sharing companies cover a portion of the cost. Also you may be able to use your HSA account to pay for services. I'm happy to provide a reimbursement form to submit if needed.

 

How far will you travel for a birth?

I travel to all Atlanta metro areas, Gainesville, and Athens. There is a $50-$100 travel fee for clients who live outside a 40 mile radius from my home (zip code 30019). On occasion I will travel beyond this area. Please inquire for more information on out of town doula services. 

What if you are sick, out of town, at another birth, or experiencing an emergency when I go into labor?

Although it is not common for me to miss the birth of a client, I always have a highly experienced and dedicated back up doula on call.
