  PRENATAL SUPPORT

• Phone, email, & text support throughout pregnancy

• Education & resources shared as requested

• Prenatal sessions - Dedicated time to build a trusting relationship, discuss the labor and birth process, dive into your birth preferences and desires regarding labor, delivery, and newborn care, navigate through fears or concerns, and practice labor positions/movements, comfort measures, and partner support. Useful tools and suggestions will be given to help you prepare physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually for your upcoming birth. 

• Assistance in creating an effective & useful birth plan

• Referrals to midwives, doctors, chiropractors, lactation consultants, and other specialists as needed

• Dedicated 24/7 on-call support 38 weeks through birth

  LABOR SUPPORT

• Early labor guidance in assessing the status of your labor and tips for progress and comfort

• Continuous support throughout labor and delivery. Some comfort measures/labor tools may include, but are not limited to: position changes, movement, breathing techniques, massage, hot/cold therapy, acupressure, hydrotherapy, rebozo techniques, aromatherapy, prayer, and scripture.

• Mental & emotional reassurance

  POSTPARTUM SUPPORT

• Immediate postpartum care after birth

• Initial breastfeeding support

• In-home visit within two weeks of delivery

• Nourishing postpartum meal 

• Unlimited phone and email support up to six weeks after birth.

* Travel fee for clients located outside a 20 mile radius of my home (zip code 30004).

** On limited occasions, I may have availability for last minute doula support. Last minute discounted services are only available to moms who are full term (38-42 weeks gestation). The discounted fee will be collected in full with contract and a prenatal session will be offered over the phone if possible. The care and support received at the birth will be the same as that which is stated above with traditional doula services.
